Let it Flow!
Phew! Finally managed to post yesterdays picture (I had a bug in my code which was doing whacky things!). Maybe I should have taken note of the lesson from the photo…
… just let it flow!
Creative Mess!
I’ve been getting mess withdrawal symptoms!
So tonight, I made a mess. I feel much better now!
Self-Portrait
We tend to think of ourselves as the person we see in the mirror – the front view.
Whereas the view most people have of us is much more obscure.
Inquisitive!
All I did was stand still…
…and I got investigated!
Lonely Rosehip
Just one lonely rosehip at the side of the cliff path, shining out in the surrounding grey.
Totally absorbed in fulfilling its life’s purpose.
Winter’s Beauty
It’s winter; the trees are bare.
But just look at that colour, and those patterns!
Flowering Basil!
Take two throwaways – a broken flower and an empty basil pot – put them together…
…and you get a pretty picture!
Expansion!
2013 is going to be a year of expansion for me. I started this site in 2009 as a sort of biographical record of my work. A lot has happened in the intervening years and now in 2013 I find myself moving forward in so many ways. I just don’t have time to do the biography thing. Maybe in another 20 years or so…
Back in the present… starting on January 1st this year, I set out to publish one photo a day with a short comment, and have decided to use this site to showcase these images. You can also see them on my Flickr site here.
So – a bit of catching up to do…
I took this picture on January 1st – a little bit of Autumn that got lost when winter came!
Yesterday I took this picture of my Christmas roses, just beginning to fade a little, but still so very beautiful!
I’ve been so busy sorting out this site today that I haven’t taken today’s picture yet – watch out for it later!
