…was well worth the climb!

Walking Up to the Sky!

This hill was so steep, it was like walking up to the sky!

No easy task when your hay fever is causing your eyes and nose to stream and you can’t stop sneezing!

Fungi

I’m no expert on fungi, and have no idea what these are called…

…but aren’t they magnificent!

White Leaves

I couldn’t decide why some of the leaves on this plant were so white.

I suspect they got sprayed with something…but have no idea what or why. It certainly makes it stand out!

Green after the Rain

Everything always looks so green…

Yellow Flag Iris

Walking to the shops today…

…I couldn’t help but notice these yellow flag irises at the side of the road. Beautiful!

Drain Cover Mandala

I have always been fascinated by the patterns on drain covers…

…but it wasn’t until I was processing the image of this one that I noticed how its pattern formed a mandala!

In The Woods

Wentworth Woodhouse

I was extremely proud of myself for managing the walk to Wentworth Woodhouse – this amazing old house in the picturesque village of Wentworth.

Part of the walk went through the extensive grounds of the house. I finished up the walk by having tea in the attached garden centre cafe – very nice!

Sea of Lily Pads

…is just waiting for some frogs, to complete the picture!
