If it weren’t for the depth of the shadows you could almost mistake this for a daytime picture.
The street lights here are very white.

I really love how differently things look at night.
The colours are changed by the street lighting and the shadows are so much deeper than during the day time.
Spooky Reflections
When I was previewing yesterday’s image, I noticed a spooky looking hand reflected in the top left corner.
So I stage managed this one!

Crooked Spire Church
Visiting Chesterfield in Derbyshire today, we couldn’t help but notice the Crooked Spire Church.
Built in the late thirteenth century, it has been suggested that it was the weight of the lead (32 tons) on the timber frame of the spire that caused it to bend and twist.
Inky Hands!
Believe it or not, I’ve scrubbed my hands and had a shower since I used this ink.
